2012 July Region 5 Track and Field PQ

70 athletes and 22 volunteers attended Region 5 Track and Field Provincial Qualifier hosted by Oakville Dave Thomas.

Indeed it was a most wonderful day.

And yes very well organized provincial qualifier Track and Field Tournament.

All credit goes to meet organizer Dave Thomas Oakville and without hesitation to all the experienced best quality very committed volunteers.

Dave you are the best....On behalf of Special Olympics.....Thank you for your time and expertise.

All the volunteers have done a great job running this PQ tournament! There was nothing but praise from all the teams, coaches and parents regarding how well the meet was run. The day could not have been as successful as it was without contribution from all the volunteers.

All one has to do is look at the pictures from the day, which shows athletes deep in concentration, triumphant in their performance and ecstatic in their victory, to know that your support/contribution to the day made a definite difference and an impact on a group of truly deserving individuals.

Tim Horton’s (Dundas and Neyagawa, Oakville) donated the coffee and hot chocolate. Subway (Trafalgar and Dundas, Oakville) gave reduced rate on the subs.

Thank you to everyone on a super effort and successful meet... Job well done!!!
